New York-native Susan Rice is the President and CEO of New Era Travel. Susan started her career in travel at the age of 17 working as a tour guide. During this time, she traveled to Spain, France, and Greece, learning about the cultures and languages of those countries. She later worked for an airline, where she learned to plan travel by air to Europe, Africa, and more. She was one of the first legal tour operators for Cuba, and has arranged group travel in South America, Central America, and from Europe to Florida for companies based in Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Holland, Hungary, and Switzerland. Throughout the years, Susan has worked across all sectors of the travel industry, and is a certified Sandals and Beaches Specialist, Ocean and Sightseeing product specialist, and Antigua, Aruba, Jamaica, and St. Lucia specialist.

Having been in the business for over forty years, Susan has visited every island in the Caribbean, speaks six languages, and has a network of contacts that make what is usually “off-limits” for tourists available to her clients. Susan listens to what you want for your trip and makes it happen, keeping your wants and needs at the forefront of travel planning.

Susan acts as your concierge before, during, and even after your trip (what was the name of that nightclub you liked in Jamaica?), advising and arranging every step of the way. She has vast experience in honeymoon travel and romantic getaways, destination weddings, family vacations, solo travel, group travel, fundraising travel, cruises, student travel, corporate travel, bachelor and bachelorette travel, and luxury travel.
